With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Sapio of Clementon, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa Sapio (DiOrio). He is survived by: his children, Jill Chit (Nicholas) and Nicholas Sapio (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Jamie, Joey, Alexander (Laura), Keith (Jessica), Emily, Molly and Hailey; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Julianna, Layla, Lola, Lily, Hailey and Rosalie; and his brothers, Richard Sapio (Rosemary) and Michael Sapio (Dorothy). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ora L. Wooster Funeral Home (51 Park Blvd, Clementon, NJ 08021). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location.
