She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Slinkard and Emily Slinkard; and her brother Walter Slinkard, Jr.. She is survived by : her husband Edward Brown; her children, Nicole Brown (John Interlante) and Jacob Brown (Stacia Lewandowski); and her pets, McCoy and Charlie.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 and/or Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center, 125 County House Rd., Blackwood, NJ 08012.
