Ernesto leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Ernesto’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Ernesto will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrea Maria and Anna Maria (Pellegrini); his spouse Teresina Pate; and his son-in-law Mohammed. He is survived by: his daughters, Maria Gentile (John), Mirella Jaber Carrion (Marco) and Ersina Jacques (Alan). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. K. Macagna Funeral Home (495 Anderson Ave, Cliffside Park, NJ 07010). A Mass was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Church of the Epiphany (247 Knox Ave, Cliffside Park, NJ 07010). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:45 AM at the Madonna Cemetery (2070 Hoefleys Ln, Fort Lee, NJ 07024).
