He is survived by: his wife Elcira; his daughters, Claudia Nazareth Alvarez, Zoraida Alvarez Pacheco and Lisette Viviana Gutierrez; his grandchildren, Victoria Lynn Gomez, Sophia Alexis Gomez, Alejandro Mauralanda and Natalie Isabella Vera; and his sister Alba Lucia.
