He was predeceased by: his wife Mary L.; and his siblings, Virginia Palumbo, Jenny Leone, Emily Palumbo, John Palumbo, Louise Castelli, Anthony Palumbo, Michael Palumbo and Margaret Palumbo.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Palumbo (Patricia), David Palumbo (Patricia) and Lori Levine (Aaron); and his grandchildren, Rachel, Brian, Matthew, Zachary, Michael and Elizabeth.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McCorry Brothers Funeral Home (1601 Palisade Ave, Fort Lee, NJ 07024). A Mass will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St Rocco's Roman Catholic Church (4206 John F. Kennedy Blvd # J, Union City, NJ 07087). An entombment will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (500 Fairview Ave, Fairview, NJ 07022).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the John Theurer Cancer Center, Hackensack NJ, in Joseph's name would be greatly appreciated.
