She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Placa and Eleanor La Placa; her brother Peter La Placa; and her cousin Arlene Mauri. She is survived by: her husband Kevin Barrett of Clifton; her stepdaughters, Leah Barrett Demers and Maura Barrett; and also, Joseph Mauri, Stephen Mauri, Todd Coldiron (Carmen), Sean and Thomas.
