We announce the death of Florence J Runo of Clifton, New Jersey, born in Passaic, New Jersey, who passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 94. Florence will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Florence will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Florence will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Florence’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas and Cecile; and her brothers, Joseph, William, Lawrence, Albert, Philip and Henry. She is also survived by 19 loving nieces and nephews, and many family members and friends.

A Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church (124 Union Ave, Clifton, NJ 07011). The inurnment will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the St. Mary's Cemetery (224 Westminster Pl, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663). A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Florence's name to Friends of the Shelter.
