We announce the death of George A Miller (East Hanover, New Jersey), who passed away on October 22, 2026, at the age of 85. George will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. George will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew George will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. George’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Henry and Margaret Miller (Hatton); and his sister Harriett Ganning. He is survived by: his wife Diana Miller (DiGisi); his children, Lori (Larry) and George (Meg); and his grandchildren, Meghan (Tink), Kayla (KK) and Courtney (August Axtman). He is also survived by many extended family members, neighbors, and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Hancliffe Home For Funerals (222 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
To honor George's generous spirit, the family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation to bring hope and joy to children.
