The passing of Irene E. (Mignone) Chandler of Clifton, New Jersey leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 24, 2025 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mignone and Carmela Mignone (D'Argenio); her husband Walter D. Chandler; and her son Walter "Buddy" Chandler. She is survived by: her children, Beth Skorupski (Rich) of Sayreville, Dawn Rankin of Toms River and David Chandler (Sylvia) of Westfield; her grandchildren, Anne Lourenco, Aidan, Brendan Chandler, Mark Giuliano, Amy Bremus, Jeff and Gregg Chandler; and her sister Josephine Bradford of Pompton Plains. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Allwood Funeral Home (660 Allwood Rd, Clifton, NJ 07012). A prayer will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Brendan RC Church (154 E 1st St, Clifton, NJ 07011). A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Laurel Grove Memorial Park (295 Totowa Rd, Totowa, NJ 07512).
Memorial donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital will be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
