Jean Alu Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2023, at the age of 95, Jean Alu of Clifton, New Jersey, born in Passaic, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph L. Alu; her parents, Jack LaPlaca and Maria LaPlaca; and her siblings, Anthony, Joseph, Nick, James LaPlaca, Mary Mercadante and Mamie Sferuzza.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Alu (Evette), Grace Caddell (Robert) and Joann Battersby; her grandchildren, Robert Caddell (Deborah), Gina Pasquariello (Dario) and Shaun Battersby (Julia); and her great grandchildren, Scott Caddell, Dario, Dante, Devin Pasquariello and Patrick Battersby.
