It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jose Mercado of Clifton, New Jersey, who passed away on April 20, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marta Texidor; his sons, Hector Luis Rivera, Jr. (Yolanda) of Clifton and Nelson Net Rivera (Loretta) of Pennsylvania; and his siblings, Pedro Nieves, Sonia, Pablo Martinez, Maribel, Angel Martinez, Migdalia Martinez, Martin, Margery Olivero, Richard Olivero, Manuel Mercado, Ileane Mercado and Carmen Elena Mercado. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren.
