He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Popowicz and Justyna Popowicz; and his brother Eugene. He is survived by : his wife Diane Medvecky of Clifton, NJ; his son Matthew Popowicz (Xiomara Hernandez); his granddaughter Maya; his children, Mark Popowicz (Deanna), Natalie Burachinsky (Mark) and Dana Resciniti (John); his grandchildren, Andrew, Alexandra, Liliana (Popowicz), Adrian (Burachinsky), JJ, Layla and Nico (Resciniti); his sister Roxy Kyzyk (Andy); his sisters-in-law, Eileen Bartolozzi and Dorothy Vitale (Al); and his nieces and nephews, James Bartolozzi, Karen Tish (Brian), Jonathan Tish, Kevin Tish, Christine Zeliger (Joseph), Jessica Zeliger, Jack Zeliger, Michael Vitale, Jason Vitale (Leila), Stefan Popowicz, Andrew Popowicz and Danilo Kyzyk.
