We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2024, at the age of 73, Katherine Schmidt of Clifton, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Katherine shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Katherine farewell, we carry with us the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding us through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by : her husband Josef; and her brother Michael Wallace. She is survived by : her stepson Joseph Schmidt; her niece Kelly Wallace; and her cousins, Maryann Callaghan, Ellen Hayes, Martin Ford, Cathy Schanel and James Murphy.

Viewing was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Marrocco Memorial Chapel (470 Colfax Ave, Clifton, NJ 07013). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Clare Church (69 Allwood Rd, Clifton, NJ 07014).
