He is survived by: his wife Robin Gibson; his children, Lori James (Will James), Scott Gibson (Hilda Gibson), Billy Gibson and Tyler Gibson; his grandchildren, Dylan, Julianna, Luciana and Sydney; his sister Carol Shaffer; and his brother-in-law Bill Shaffer. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Allwood Funeral Home (660 Allwood Rd, Clifton, NJ 07012). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Living Hope Presbyterian Church (303 Maplewood Ave, Clifton, NJ 07013). A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Cresthaven Memorial Park (750 Passaic Ave, Clifton, NJ 07012).
Memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
