Zefe will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She was predeceased by: her husband Nikolaos. She is survived by: her children, John Gikas and Thalia Gikas; her daughter-in-law Kathy Gikas; and her grandchildren, Anastasia and Nicolette.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation (3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07306). A prayer was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Evangelismos Greek Orthodox Church (661 Montgomery St, Jersey City, NJ 07306). A burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031).
