He is survived by: his father Julius Nicklas; his wife Ruth (Kline); his son John Nicklas; his grandson Miles; his sister Sister Ida Marie; his nephew Joseph Nicklas (family: Tim Tivault); his niece Winnie Nicklas (family: Ida Madsen, Marie King); and his sisters-in-law, Margaret Harding and Marie Arnold.
