He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacques Henri Cornet and Marie Antoinette; his wife Mary Lou (Aragona); and his siblings, Marie Antoinette Van Doren and Jean Cornet.
He is survived by: his children, Jacques Cornet Jr. (Jill) of New York City, Peter Cornet (Sue) of Bridgewater and Anne Cornet (Rose Labriola) of Durham; his sister Helene Clarke; and his granddaughters, Nicole, Olivia, Katie, Abby, Julie, Sarah and Sophie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
