The passing of Theresa MacDonald of Colonia, New Jersey leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 21, 2025 at the age of 97. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Theresa departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Theresa may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Theresa leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matteo Pellegrino and Maria Pellegrino (DePalma); her husband Edward B. MacDonald; and her stepdaughter Marcia. She is survived by: her stepson Edward MacDonald; and her caregivers, Dana and Beata. She is also survived by three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many family members.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Helena's RC Church (950 Grove Ave, Edison, NJ 08820). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at the St. James Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
