He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jakim (Drabant) and Andrew Jakim; his sister Evelyn Bruch; and his sister-in-law Maryann (Michael Bunnick). He is survived by: his wife Bernadine Jakim (Bordas); his children, David of Sedona, Christopher (Noreen) of Bordentown, Kevin (Kelly) of Yardley, Pennsylvania. and Anita Jakim (Mauricio Quezada) of Sedona; his grandchildren, Hayden, Matthew and Grace Jakim; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph (Christine Bordas) and Madeline (Cornel Rebeles) of Roebling.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations to St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 191 Norman Avenue, Roebling, New Jersey 08554.
