He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. O'Shaughnessy and Gertrude Braun O'Shaughnessy; and his granddaughter Cailiosa Cobb. He is survived by: his wife Carol M. O'Shaughnessy; his children, Kathleen Cobb (John Cobb) and John J. O'Shaughnessy (Patricia O'Shaughnessy); and his grandchildren, Meghan Cobb and John G. O'Shaughnessy.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Ely Funeral Home (3316 NJ-33, Neptune City, NJ 07753). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Innocents Roman Catholic Church (3455 W Bangs Ave, Neptune City, NJ 07753). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Anne Cemetery (1610 Allenwood Rd, Wall Township, NJ 07719).
