George Giovanos Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Giovanos of Cranbury, New Jersey, born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, who passed away on April 23, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Giovanos and Regina Giovanos (Czaplinski); his wife Sally Jane Giovanos (Applegate); his siblings, Louis, Nick Giovanos and Areta Hale; and his niece Jeanne Giovanos.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cathy, Catherine L. Giovanos and Christine L. (John Schafer); his grandchildren, Courtney, Carley Krajcsovics, Brady and Bailey Schafer; his siblings-in-law, Robert, Linda Applegate and William H. Applegate, II; his sibling's children, Robert, Diane Applegate, Deborah, Cristino Martinez, Sara, Rolston Gaiter and Rebecca Dickson (family: William H. Applegate, III); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jason, Carson Applegate, Alyson, Bryan Martinez, Brenton, Emerson and Harper Gaiter.
