He was predeceased by: his parents, Peggy Ackerman and Denis; and his wife Mary Jane McMillan. He is survived by: his son John F. Cronin; his wife Sherry Cronin; his grandsons, Evan Cronin and Daniel; his fiancée Tina Edwards; his grandchildren, Chris Cronin, Mike, Kaitlyn Cronin and Zachary; his sister Peggy Ackerman; his nieces, Beth Wappman and Katie Mack; and his nephew Bill Ackerman.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Dooley Colonial Home (556 Westfield Ave, Westfield, NJ 07090). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
