He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Samer and Catherine Samer; and his siblings, Joan Gauer and Kenneth Samer. He is survived by: his wife Carlyn Samer; his children, Steven Samer (Torrey), Matthew Samer (Tessa) and Lisa DiGiovanni (John Anthony); his grandchildren, Timothy Samer, Dayna Harrington, Taylor Czyzewski, Danielle Bolton, Nicholas Samer and Shauna DiGiovanni; and his great grandchildren, Noel Harrington, Hunter Bolton and Henry Harrington. He is also survived by several extended family members; and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Chapel of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home (38 NJ-31, Flemington, NJ 08822). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services (38 NJ-31, Flemington, NJ 08822). A Mass was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 10:45 AM and from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Victories Church (1007 County Road 519, Frenchtown, NJ 08825).
