James Robert Colangelo Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2025, at the age of 75, James Robert Colangelo of Cranford, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas and Josephine. He is survived by: his significant other Marcia Haller; his brother Nick Colangelo (Trish); his children, Joseph (Sarah) and Julia (Chris); and his grandchildren, James, Evelyn, Margaret, Caroline, Theodore, Charlotte, Angela and Sis.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dooley Funeral Home (218 N Ave W, Cranford, NJ 07016). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Michael's Church (40 Alden St, Cranford, NJ 07016).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jim's name may be made to Sister Pat's Camp for Kids with Cancer, where he volunteered. The family has chosen to send donations to Sister Pat's Camp for Kids with CancerDonate Now (https://www.sisterpatskidscamp.org) Donate to Charity Keep James's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
