With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Josephine Ann of Cranford, New Jersey, born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 13, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Josephine farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Josephine is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband S. Walter "Buddy" of Lazaro; and her daughter Lisa. She is survived by: her children, Susan (Vincent) and Steven (Stela); and her grandchildren, Leo, Noah and Lisa.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dooley Funeral Home (218 N Ave W, Cranford, NJ 07016). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Church (40 Alden St, Cranford, NJ 07016).
