With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Schmidt of Cranford, New Jersey, born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, who passed away on August 7, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Doncrank and Anna Doncrank; her husband Edward Schmidt; and her brother-in-law John Schmidt. She is survived by: her children, Michael Schmidt and Susan Schmidt Dempsey (Sean); her grandchildren, Jaclyn Dempsey Youssef (Cameron), Kimberly Dempsey Roberts (Justin) and Sean Dempsey, Jr.; her great grandchildren, William, Beau Roberts and Rory Youssef; her brother Michael (Joan); and her sisters-in-law, Ellie Schmidt and Anita Schmidt. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law with her grandchildren.
