We announce the death of Kathleen Katica of Cranford, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on August 11, 2026, at the age of 76. Kathleen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Nelson and Florence Nelson (King); and her sisters, Carole Paster and Evelyn Kocher. She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Nezlick (Bonnie) and Christopher Katica (Jessica); and her brother Frank Nelson. She is also survived by her loving nieces, nephews and their spouses and children.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to St.Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated.
