He was predeceased by: his parents, Jennie Ferrara and Joseph Vanacore; his wife Evelyn Pietsch Vanacore; his mother-in-law Betty Pietsch; his siblings, Rose Leone (Frank), Millie Lotesto (Charlie) and Tony Vanacore (Theresa); and his siblings-in-law, Paul Pietsch (Myrtle), Anna Battle (Freddy) and Bob Pietsch.
He is survived by: his children, June Vanacore, Joseph Vanacore (Judy), Louis Vanacore (Janine) and Beth Muller (Chris); his grandchildren, Jennifer Morales (Hector), Liz Ricca (Mike), Ryan Skorupski (Leesa), Nick Vanacore, Louis Vanacore, Natalie Di Desidero (John), Andrew Vanacore, Matthew Muller (Lilly), Shawn Muller, Christopher Muller and Alex Muller; his great grandchildren, Isach Morales, Lauren Morales, Hannah Morales, Emily Morales, Michael Ricca, John Di Desidero, Isabelle Di Desidero, Mia Di Desidero and Ace Skorupski; and his sister-in-law Joann Pietsch. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Maxwell Funeral Home (160 Mathistown Rd, Little Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08087). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at the Tuckerton Greenwood Cemetery (126 N Green St, Tuckerton, NJ 08087).
