We are sad to announce that, on December 30, 2025, at the age of 86, Michael Merola (Cranford, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonso Merola and Rose Merola (Federico). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Merola (Glackin); his sister Mary Lou Nolas; his children, Michael A. (Tara), Michele Dangle (Matt) and Marc P. (Kristina); and his grandchildren, Grace, Michael, Taigh, Donovan, Patrick Merola, Madelyn, Mason Dangle, Rosemary and Morrison Merola.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the NJ Firemen's Home, 565 Lathrop Avenue, Boonton, NJ 07005, and/or the Where Angels Play Foundation, PO Box 670, Oakhurst, NJ 07755 (whereangelsplayfoundation.org).
