She was predeceased by: her parents, Mollie Cook and Joseph Cook; and her sister Theresa Benn. She is survived by: her brother Joseph; her husband John Joseph Kain; and her daughters, Christine and Jennifer (Geoff Clark).
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael's Church (40 Alden St, Cranford, NJ 07016).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to one of the organizations that were dear to Phyllis, Tunnels to Towers or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
