He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Gaum and Marian Gaum. He is survived by : his daughters, Briana Rose Gaum and Shannon Ryan Rahsan; his granddaughter Neva Rose Rahsan; his former life partner Sandy Gaum; his siblings, Linda Marsh and Robert Gaum (Cheryl); his niece Danalyn Byrne (Tim); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Carly Ryan and Kaci Rose; his nephew Todd; and his niece Julie Gaum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Briana Rose Gaum Scholarship Fund.
