He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Joseph, Sr. and Mary Hartmann (Arnold); his wife Anna Rose Farrelly; and his sister Evelyn Hagerty. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Hartmann (Ann) of Fairfax, VA, Neil Hartmann (Veronica) of Cresskill, NJ, Thomas Hartmann of Kingston, PA, James Hartmann (Donna) of Rutherford, NJ, Robert Hartmann (Jannie) of Newton, NJ and MaryAnn Harnett (Charles) of Ridgefield Park, NJ. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
