We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2025, at the age of 78, Earldine Roundtree in Delaware, New Jersey, born in Halifax, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rachel Jones and Hugh Jones; her son Charles E. Jones; her great grandchild Ka'Sai Naeem Jones; and her sister Patricia Ann Harris.
She is survived by: her children, Areatha "DeeDee" Jones (Thomas) of Delaware, William Kelvin Jones (Jacqueline) of New Jersey and Michelle Jones (Willie) of Delaware; her siblings, Lois Furrow of Delaware, Charles Jones (Mary) of North Carolina and Lewis Jones (Mary) of Michigan; her former husband Carlton Roundtree; and her grandchildren, Khaleem Jones, Khajuan Jones, LaTosha Jones, Rashan Griffin, Darion Jones, Christine Gibbs, Charlyeshia Jones, Jahniya Jones, Ahmondrion Jones and Kymoria Jones. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the House of Wright Mortuary (208 E 35th St, Wilmington, DE 19802). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
