He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank E. Schneider and Ida Schneider (Smeltzer); and his siblings, Frank E. Schneider Jr., Charles "Bunny" Schneider, Eleanor Sahaydak and Lorraine Linico.

He is survived by : his wife Ruth Hewitt Schneider; his daughter Tracy; his son-in-law Richard Maniscalco; his grandchildren, Stephanie Maniscalco, Jessica Maniscalco Pedraza (Frank), Anthony Maniscalco (Amanda) and Jennifer Maniscalco; and his great grandchildren, Kristina, Jackson, Gianna and Giovanni. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Due to restrictions related to COVID-19, funeral services and interment in Rosemont Cemetery in Rosemont NJ will be private and under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations can made to the Amwell Church of the Brethren, 40 Sandbrook Headquarters Rd, Stockton, NJ 08559.

“We lost a wonderful man and friend, with Bob's passing. His visits and knowledge he shared with us were valuable lessons only one with experience could share. His giving heart and comforting voice was Bob. It was a pleasure to have known him and be able to say, he was my friend. Ruth if you ever need anything were right down the lane.”
