He is survived by: his wife Andrea Toni Carragher; his children, Kelly Slough (Ray), Richard "Rick" Carragher, Jr. (Danielle) and Lauren Carragher; his grandchildren, Rebecca (Justin), Ryan, Nicholas of Bella, JJ, Anna and Alexander; his great grandchild Jack; and his brother James Carragher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Givnish Funeral Home (1200 US-130, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
