He is survived by: his nephew Dr. Scott Alan Scardena (Courtney) of Boonton; his niece Allison Daugherty (Colin) of Denville; his great-nephew Owen Scardena; his brother-in-law Stephen Scardena; and his foster children, Michael Allender and Jesse Dibble.
