The passing of Anthony J Schiavone Sr. of Denville, New Jersey leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on August 21, 2025 at the age of 104. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Schiavone and Theresa Schiavone (Labrizzi); his wife Irma; and his brothers, Joseph and John.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony (Jill), Thomas (Missy) and Annie Burkley; his grandchildren, Rachel (Chris), Matthew (Sarah), Elicia (late Michael), Tyler (Samantha), Michael, Robert and Tori; his great grandchild Sophia; and his pets, Tigger and Ellie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St Mary's RC Church (15 Myers Ave, Denville, NJ 07834). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
