He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Vanderhoof (Coates) and Farnham Vanderhoof. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Vanderhoof (Barny) of Center's Hole; his children, Jennifer Krogstad (Erik), Wendy Young (Alex) and Edwin James Vanderhoof; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Jessica, Kiersten, Charles and Joshua; his sister-in-law Janice Vanderhoof; his niece Stephanie Sadineni (Jay); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Evelyn and Elyssa; and his nephew Timothy Vanderhoof.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Denville Community Church (190 Diamond Spring Rd, Denville, NJ 07834).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Boy Scouts of America, your local food pantry, or any worthwhile charity close to your heart.
