It is with sadness that the passing of Gregory John Cherico of Denville, New Jersey is shared. Gregory passed away on September 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Gregory will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Gregory by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Gregory is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Gregory’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gennaro Cherico and Florence Cherico (Conroy). He is survived by: his son Jonathan Cherico (Amanda) of Jackson, NJ; his grandchildren, Julianna and James Cherico; his great grandchild KrystalAnn Cherico of Denville, NJ.; his sister Vanessa Giovannone (Pat); his fiancée Ruthann Cattafi; his fiancée's children, Kimber, Hailey and Aaron; and his pet Lucy. He is also survived by his family, friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Norman Dean Home (16 Righter Ave, Denville, NJ 07834). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Memories Cemetery (300 Soldier Hill Road, Township of Washington, NJ 07676).
