R DeF wrote a sympathy message

“Dear family, Ken, and your mom, Dale, were two of the finest people I've ever known. I met your dad when he was at NYU film school, and completing his thesis film. Your soon-to be mom, was his DP. He was my close friend, and advisor wherever I went. (He even taught me how to shoot, and rappelling.) Ken, e-mailed me pictures of what you were all up to together on outings...he was so proud of you all. We had many memorable and wonderful times together. My heart is heavy. Sympathy, Bob DeFrank”
