With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Millicent Smailes of Denville, New Jersey, born in Blakely, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 12, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Abbott and Stella Abbott. She is survived by : her siblings, William, Earl and Marylyn; her husband George S. Smailes; her son George (Margarete); her granddaughters, Emily Jaguello (Dimitri) and Chloe Smailes; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Oscar and Zoe. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
