He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Furkey (Watts); his children, Donna Marie Furkey, Peter Robert Furkey Jr., Linda Sivick, James Furkey and Kristi Rexroth; his grandchildren, Elyse Marie Gallagher, Ashley Nicole Furkey and Kaylie Furkey Sivick; and his great grandchildren, Stephen Anthony Koza, Abigail Marie Appelgate, Jaylin Ann Appelgate, Joslyn Nicole Appelgate, Noah Daniel Furkey, Mia Brielle Gallagher and Jackson Edward Gallagher.

Memorial donations may be made in Peter's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization close to his heart.
