She was predeceased by: her father Dr. Charles Semel; her brother-in-law Christopher Talbot; and her pet Smokey. She is survived by: her mother Donna Semel; her husband Aldis Blumfelds; her sister Melissa Semel (Jay Grassi); her nieces and nephews, Andrew Ginsberg, Diana Chicaleski, Stacey Grassi, Patrick Talbot and Captain Robert Talbot; her sister-in-law Lilita Talbot; and her mother-in-law Aija.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Debbie's memory to Eleventh Hour Animal Rescue or the American Heart Association.
