Campbell Jr. of Dover, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 21, 2026 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann (Werdann); his son Thomas; and his granddaughter Jessica. He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Alice (Charles Dunn), Catherine Pfeifer of Manning, SC, Carolann Campbell of Landing, Joan (Kevin Dziuba) and Patricia (Moses Acosta); and his grandchildren, Laura, Karin, Leigh of Matthew, AJ, Anndenise, Kurt, Kenneth, Christine, Kimberly, Robert, Allyson, Heather, Lauren and Kaitlyn. He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Whitham-Kanapaux Funeral Home (20 Keller Ave, Rockaway, NJ 07866). A Mass will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (4 Richards Ave, Dover, NJ 07801).
