He was predeceased by: his father William L. Gilbert (Gwendolyn Gilbert). He is survived by: his wife Eileen Shull-Gilbert; his sister Kathi Gilbert of Dover; his sisters-in-law, Lisa Brokaw and Audra Cruz (Paul Tulli); his niece Taylor Savona (Sean); his nephew Alex Cruz; and his mother-in-law Jane Wright (Ron).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Tuttle Funeral Home (272 NJ-10, Randolph, NJ 07869). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 5:30 PM and on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Locust Hill Cemetery (168 N Sussex St, Dover, NJ 07801).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Bill's memory to the Dover Fire Department Antique Club, P.O. Box 389, Dover, NJ 07802.
