She was predeceased by: her husband John Maher; her brothers, Eugene McShane (Mary) and James; and her parents, Owen McShane and Jane McShane.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Maher, Rosie Mertz (Tom) and Tricia Kindergan (Tom); her brother Jerry McShane; and her sister-in-law Kay.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home (161 Washington Ave, Dumont, NJ 07628). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (280 Washington Ave, Dumont, NJ 07628).
