He was predeceased by: his significant other Lucille Ermita; and his parents, Milagros Ermita and Crisogono Ermita. He is survived by: his children, Brandon Ermita (Michelle), Terence Jason Ermita and Maia Canlas (Geoff); and his grandchildren, Isabella, Jacqueline, Angelina, Cory and Zoe.
With patience, kindness, and a spirit of adventure, he instilled in them integrity, leadership, and love for nature, and was even awarded the Bronze Pelican Award – an award given to those who have made significant contributions to Scouting in the Catholic faith.
