We bid farewell to Katherine A. Gangemi of Dunellen, New Jersey, born in Plainfield, New Jersey, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 14, 2025 at the age of 91. Katherine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Gangemi Jr.; her parents, Francis Chicarelli and Maryann Chicarelli; and her brothers, Norman and Arthur.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Shangle (Robert) of Dunellen, NJ, Patricia O'Keeffe (Thomas) of Morganville, NJ and Sharon Smith (Mark) of Easton, PA.; and her grandchildren, Bobby, Daniel, Alyssa, Kristen, Erin and David.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gustafson Home For Funerals (2425 Plainfield Ave, South Plainfield, NJ 07080).
