He was predeceased by : his parents, George M. Hanson and Blanche Stout Hanson. He is survived by : his wife Joan Hanson; his sons, Lucas Hanson (Alaina) of Ringoes, NJ and Matthew Hanson (Jesse Landon) of Lambertville, NJ; his grandchild Elbi Hanson; and his brother Tom Hanson of Prescott, AZ..
