He is survived by : his wife Lenora Mary Imundo; his sons, Thomas J. Imundo of Old Bridge and John C. Imundo Jr. (Denise Nadine) of Spotswood; his grandchildren, Dolores Imundo and Erin Imundo; and his uncle Johnny (Santa).

“I will miss you, Uncle Johnny. I'll always remember having some 'old fart' come up to me on the beach and sneeze seaweed at me; I will definitely be using that one on my nieces and nephews. You created so many fun childhood memories, from Halloween parties to your Christmas Santa and so much more. You were always so full of life, trying to make every moment fun and enjoyable.
